Further to the news from 15 February, please be informed that since 19 February 2017, 13:37 UTC, the Sentinel-3A SLSTR instrument is back to its nominal state.

The following data have been impacted by the anomaly:

  • From 14 February, 08:09 UTC to 15 February, 11:55 UTC (Absolute orbits 5184 to 5201): SL_1_RBT products were generated but with degraded quality.
  • From 15 February, 11:55 UTC to 17 February, 17:45 UTC (Absolute orbits 5201 to 5233): No SL_1_RBT products were generated.
  • From 17 February, 17:45 UTC to 19 February, 13:37 UTC (Absolute orbits 5233 to 5259): Only visible bands were available, i.e. the first three bands. As a result, all of the SL_1_RBT products have been generated but IR bands are empty whereas the first three bands are available for descending (daylight) products.
