A significant update of ApiHub is planned in order to publish the Sentinel-1A data acquired before 16 November 2015 that has previously only been available on the SciHub. This update will see a complete realignment of the two access points and will provide an improved redundancy for the open access Sentinel data.

A significant update of ApiHub is planned in order to publish the Sentinel-1A data acquired before 16 November 2015 that has previously only been available on the SciHub. This update will see a complete realignment of the two access points and will provide an improved redundancy for the open access Sentinel data. This realignment is planned in two steps:

A first maintenance is planned on Tuesday 31 January 2017 from 09:30 CET to 17:30 CET, affecting only the SciHub.

This maintenance will also remove from the SciHub database the corrupted Sentinel-2 products recently announced.

Users shop-carts may be invalidated during the maintenance activities.

A second maintenance is planned on Tuesday 7 February 2017 from 09:30 CET to 17:30 CET.

This second maintenance will mainly concern the ApiHub for the realignment of the databases, although a short interruption on the SciHub may also be required.

Following the realignment of ApiHub and SciHub, users of the ApiHub will be able to find the full data set from Sentinel-1A, published with the same UUID and ingestion date as for SciHub. Users are reminded that the UUID is considered an internal key of the Data Hub system that should not be re-used as a primary key in any own cataloguing of the Sentinel data.
