An update of the Copernicus Sentinel-5 Precursor (S5p) operational ground-processing system is planned on 17 November 2021.
- O3 Profile product: to be released for the first time
- Enable sun-glint ocean retrieval in CH4
- Aerosol Layer Height (ALH): Definition of the cloud fraction calculated from the NPP-VIIRS classifications has been updated (affects Offline products)
- Minor fixes for NO2 and Absorbing Aerosol Index (AAI) products
- Minor changes in format for NO2, CH4, AAI and ALH
Documentation addressing the changes is available as well as sample products.
Detailed information will be provided within the Product Readme File. O3 Profile will be activated, after the proper checks, some days after the release deployment. Please note that NRT products for data acquired during the downtime period will be not generated. After the successful deployment of the new system, version numbers of the first orbit generated with the new version of the S5P operational processors both, in NRT and OFFL, will be provided.
