Due to a ground segment anomaly in processing, the Sentinel-5P near real time (NRTI) and non time critical (OFFL) production of HCHO maybe missing or have reduced quality since 5th June 2021. The anomaly was caused by an interruption of the background calibration.
Due to a ground segment anomaly in processing, the Sentinel-5P near real time (NRTI) and non time critical (OFFL) production of HCHO maybe missing or have reduced quality since 5 June 2021. The anomaly was caused by an interruption of the background calibration.
Whereas the background calibration has been restored, the quality is affected for the next few days. The degraded quality is not fully evident in the quality flags (QA values are normal whereas background correction is high), therefore, users are recommended to use this data with care.
