Minimize Data Provision Plan

The full Sentinel-1A operational performance was achieved at the Sentinel-1A Routine Operations Review (RORR), following the completion of the mission operations qualification. A gradual data access was provided to the various users as early as possible, i.e. starting at the time of the In-Orbit Commissioning Phase Review (IOCR), or slightly earlier, as shown in the table below.

The release of Sentinel-1B products will start during the satellite commissioning phase with few sample products made available on SCIHUB. Release of preliminary qualified products will start at Sentinel-1B IOCR, operationally qualified products 2 months later.

Note(1): considering the fact that Sentinel-1B has been launched on 25 April 2016 and needs to be synchronised with Sentinel-1A, the estimate to reach the nominal Sentinel-1B orbit is mid-June 2016.
